The Colonel Crawford Student of the Month for October is Clay Martin, a senior and the son of Todd and Heather Martin.  He has a 4.0 GPA and has earned an Academic letter each year.  As a two-year member of National Honor Society, Martin serves as president this year.

Martin is a four-year member of Student Council.  He is a member of LEO Club, serving last year as vice-president and this year, as president.

Martin ran Cross Country for four years and has earned many awards including Point Leader, All County All-Star, and first team NCC for three years and N-10 this year.  As a member of the track team, Martin has earned three varsity letters, NCC team honors, and regional and state qualifying honors.  He received All Ohio recognition in June this year for the 1600 meter.  He has received Ohio Academic Honors for both Cross Country and Track.

Martin attends Bucyrus First Church of the Nazarene.  He plans to attend Bluffton University after graduation and will major in Physics and run Cross Country and Track.

Jordan Studer is the November Student of the Month.  She is a senior and the daughter of Andrew and Melanie Studer.  Studer has earned a 4.0 GPA, Academic letters, Perfect Attendance awards, and is a member of National Honor Society.

Studer is president of F.C.C.L.A., has participated in the school play, and is a member of LEO Club.  She has earned the Cheer LEADER award and is an All American Cheerleader. Studer is also a member of both the Cross Country and Track teams.

As a member of Gospel Baptist Church, Studer participates in the Revolution Student Ministries Youth Group.  She plans to attend college after graduation and hopes to become a high school English teacher.

Both students and their families were guests of the Colonel Crawford Lions Club at its November dinner meeting.  Each received a commemorative certificate and a check for fifty dollars.
