MARION—A Marion man charged with the shooting murder of Charles A. Feliciano, 27, of Marion, is facing several additional charges.

Feliciano died as a result of gunshot wounds in March after Marion Police responded to the 340 block on N. Main Street regarding a shooting incident.

Upon arrival, Marion Police Officers located twenty-seven-year-old Feliciano in a nearby parking lot. He sustained multiple gunshot wounds as the result of an altercation with the armed assailant, now identified as Christian Gutierrez, 19, of Marion.

Gutierrez was originally charged with two counts of aggravated murder, each unclassified felonies, and one count of kidnapping, a felony of the first degree punishable with up to 11 years in prison.

Marion County Prosecutor Ray Grogan secured five additional charges against Gutierrez when he filed a superseding indictment on April 27th.

Gutierrez is now charged with three additional counts of murder, both unclassified felonies, and two counts of felonious assault, each a felony of the second degree and each punishable with up to eight years in prison.

All counts include gun specifications charges.

Crawford County Now will continue to cover this developing story.
