MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—The Palace Cultural Arts Association (PCAA) has announced it will kick off the 2026 season with the highly anticipated cinematic conclusion to the Wicked saga, Wicked: For Good. The film will screen at the historic Marion Palace Theatre for a special movie weekend running Friday, Jan. 2, through Sunday, Jan. 4.

The film serves as the emotional finale to the journey of Elphaba and Glinda, picking up where the first installment left off. Known for its soaring musical numbers and high-stakes spectacle, the production has become a cultural touchstone for longtime Broadway enthusiasts and new fans alike.

“We invite the community to start 2026 with a memorable experience on the big screen,” the PCAA said in a statement. “This is a must-see event that captures the heart of this beloved story in our historic venue.”

Showtimes for the three-day event are scheduled as follows:

  • Friday, Jan. 2: 7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, Jan. 3: 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, Jan. 4: 2:00 p.m. (featuring open captions) and 7:30 p.m.

Admission is priced at $5 for the general public and $3 for PCAA members with a valid card. Tickets are sold exclusively at the door beginning 45 minutes before each showtime. The theater will also offer full concessions, including soda, water, candy, and popcorn, all priced at $3 each.
