MANSFIELD, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Mansfield Division of Police, Major Crimes Unit is actively working on a Homicide and a Felonious Assault in the City of Mansfield.
On October 10, 2023, at 8:20 pm, the Mansfield Division of Police responded to the area of 896 Brookfield Dr. referencing numerous calls about shots fired and a subject down in the hallway. Officers arrived in the area and located two gunshot victims in the area. Both victims were taken to a local hospital. One victim was pronounced deceased at the hospital, and one was being treated at this time.
A group of subjects fled the scene from witness accounts, at this time we do not believe there is any danger to the community as related to this incident.
