MANSFIELD, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Mansfield Division of Police is inviting the public to its annual “Bike-A-Palooza” community event. The free, family-friendly festival will take place on Saturday, May 10, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at North Lake Park, located at 625 Hope Road.

Presented by the Mansfield Police Department, Bike-A-Palooza will feature a variety of engaging and educational activities for all ages. Highlights include a “Bike Ride with a Cop,” a Bicycle Safety Rodeo, and opportunities for bike inspections and minor repairs. Families can also enjoy bounce houses, family entertainment, and food.

Adding to the excitement, the Mansfield Fire Department will present its “House of Hazards.” A highlight of the event will be a bicycle raffle with 27 new bikes up for grabs. Participants must be present to claim any prizes.

This year’s event boasts new activities specifically designed for children, promising an even more enjoyable experience for families. Each child who registers will receive a free bicycle helmet. All attendees are encouraged to join Mansfield Police Officers for a bike ride along the park trail at the conclusion of the event.
