MANSFIELD, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)– Bryce Witchey, a 29-year-old resident of Mansfield, is set to stand trial on September 22 after spending over a year in custody.

Earlier this year, Witchey was deemed competent to face charges that include 31 felony counts related to child pornography and allegations of attempting to solicit sex from an 8-year-old girl online.

If convicted, he faces a potential sentence of more than 100 years in prison.

Witchey remains in custody with a bond set at $500,000. He is currently represented by attorney Bernard Davis.

Richland County Common Pleas Court Judge Brent Robinson will oversee the trial.
