MANSFIELD, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW) â The Mansfield Division of Police has announced Officer Blake Bammann as the 2024 Officer of the Year. Officer Bammann, a dedicated member of the Community Services Bureau and Night Watch, has shown an unwavering commitment to reducing crime and enhancing the safety of the city.
Throughout most of 2024, Officer Bammann served on the Afternoon Watch, where he consistently delivered high-quality work. His impressive statistics for the year include 64 felony arrests, 120 misdemeanor arrests, 295 general offense reports completed, 171 criminal summonses, and 95 field interviews. These numbers highlight his strong work ethic and significant impact on crime reduction in the community.
Officer Bammann’s contributions extend beyond his patrol duties. He is actively involved in the Community Action Team, serves as a Historical Officer, is a member of the ASORT team, and holds the position of Field Training Officer. His diverse skill set and willingness to take on multiple responsibilities demonstrate his dedication to both his profession and the community.
