The man deemed responsible in a one-vehicle crash on Oct. 14 of 2014 that horrifically ended a wedding day with two people dead was sentenced to eight years in prison Tuesday in Wyandot County Common Pleas Court.

Thirty-five-year-old Timothy Tebbe of Nevada was driving the pick-up that crashed in Antrim Township in Wyandot County. Killed were the groom, 27-year-old Andrew Bloomfield of Galion, and a bridesmaid, 26-year-old Elizabeth Shelton.

The bride, Ruth Bloomfield of Galion, was also seriously injured in the accident.

Judge Kathleen Aubry sentenced Tebbe to consecutive four-year prison terms for two counts of vehicular homicide and 17 months for vehicular assault that is to run concurrently.
