BUCYRUS—A Galion man Was sentenced in Crawford County Common Pleas Court on Wednesday.

Tyrell Shute, 23, of Galion, pleaded guilty to one count of unlawful sexual contact with a minor, a fourth-degree felony punishable with up to 18 months in prison.

Crawford County Common Pleas Court Judge Sean Leuthold sentenced Shute to the full 18 months in prison. He also designated Shute as a Tier II Sex Offender. He will have to report in person to the Sheriff of the county where he resides every six months for the next 25 years.

Mark Ford, 39, of Galion, pleaded guilty to improper handling of a firearm, a fifth-degree felony punishable with up to 12 months in prison.

Judge Leuthold sentenced Clark to five years of community control. He will forfeit a handgun.

Dylan Davis, 21, of Delaware, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony punishable with up to 12 months in prison.

In an agreed plea negotiation, Judge Leuthold sentenced Davis to five years of community control. He must complete drug and alcohol assessments and any follow-up treatment.

Marvin Clayton, 21, of Mansfield, pleaded guilty to one count of felony child non-support, a fifth-degree felony punishable with up to 12 months in prison.

Judge Leuthold sentenced Clayton to five years of community control. He must keep his child support current and pay all arrears.

Julie Ashbrook, 55, of Crawford County, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of possession of drugs, a third-degree felony punishable with up to 36 months in prison.

In an agreed plea negotiation, Ashbrook will serve 36 months in prison. The state agreed to remain silent if Ashbrook files for judicial release. She will receive jail time credit and forfeit drug-related property and a firearm.
