BUCYRUS—Wesley Walker, 35, of Mount Gilead got a harsh lesson on the consequences of manufacturing drugs in Crawford County.

Walker pleaded guilty to one count of manufacturing illegal drugs and one count of possessing chemicals used to manufacture drugs. Each are third-degree felonies and each are punishable with up to 36 months in prison.

Crawford County Common Pleas Court Judge Sean Leüthold approved a negotiated plea agreement. Leüthold sentenced Walker to a flat 30 months in prison on count one and 24 months in prison on count two for a total of 54 months in prison.

Walker will forfeit all drug-related property including a cell phone. He will receive 84 days of jail time credit.
