BUCYRUS — A Mansfield man will spend as many as four years in prison after being sentenced Tuesday afternoon in Crawford County Common Pleas Court.

Given T. Corwin, 25, was sentenced after pleading guilty to two charges of trafficking in drugs.

According to Corwin’s indictment, he was charged with a fourth-degree felony charge for trafficking LSD and a third-degree felony charge for trafficking methamphetamines.

Both drugs were trafficked near a school in April, bringing on higher felony charges for school specifications.

Crawford County Judge Sean Leuthold asked Corwin where he was from.

“No one in Richland County told you slinging LSD and meth in Crawford County was a bad idea?” Leuthold asked.

Corwin told Leuthold he was having problems.

“You have bigger problems now,” Leuthold said.

Corwin’s attorney, Bob Whitney, and Crawford County Assistant Prosecutor Ryan Hoovler both chose to not comment during the hearing.

Leuthold ordered all drug-related property but forfeited to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office. He said Corwin would be eligible for early release at a later date.

Corwin will be placed on community control upon his release.
