BUCYRUS—Wyatt Caldwell, 24 (address unknown), pleaded guilty to violating the terms and conditions of his community control. Caldwell appeared in Crawford County Common Pleas Court on Monday.

In January 2020, Caldwell was sentenced to 59 months in prison for drug-related crimes. He was granted judicial release in July of 2020 and placed on probation.

According to probation officer Jeremy Clay, Caldwell was associating with drug dealers and was involved in a drug bust where meth and firearms were confiscated in Marion. He also tested positive for amphetamines and methamphetamines.

In an agreed plea negotiation, Crawford County Common Pleas Court Judge Sean Leuthold reimposed the remaining 41 months of Caldwell’s prison sentence. He will receive credit for jail time served.

Jessica Goodin, 39, of Bucyrus, was placed on a $25,000 bond after failing to report a change of address and absconded supervision. She also tested positive Methamphetamines.

Ray Kroninger, 34, of Galion, has his bond doubled to $50,000 after Galion police arrested him for violating the terms and conditions of his bond.

According to allegations, Kroninger, who is charged with a fourth-degree felony of assault and domestic violence, showed up at the victim’s home and refused to leave. The victim called Galion police, who took him into custody on Sunday. He also tested positive for meth.

In doubling Kroninger’s bond, Crawford County Common Pleas Court Judge Sean Leuthold told the court he had a duty to protect the victim; “I’m very concerned because this victim has constitutional rights to be protected. Not only did he show up at the victim’s home, but he tested positive for meth. We all know Methamphetamines can cause delusions that can lead to violence.” Leuthold said.

In other court news, a warrant was issued for Robin Jall, 33, of Lancaster.

Hall failed to appear for a pretrial scheduled for Monday morning. She is charged with possession of drugs.
