GALIONꟷOne person was cited when Galion Police officers investigated a motorcycle crash on Thursday evening.
Officers were called to the scene of the crash at 7:57 p.m. on Third Avenue at Harding Way East. Phillip L. Johnson was issued a citation for operating a vehicle under the influence and failure to control.
No injuries were reported.

12:21 a.m.-A report of a suspicious person who fell in the roadway in the Orange Street area was investigated and one person was arrested.
1:27 a.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 200 block of Carmel Avenue.
1:29 a.m.-A report of males in a green Ford truck yelling and attempting to knock down mailboxes was investigated in the 500 block of Crew Avenue. No one was located in the area.
7:28 a.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 700 block of Cherry Street.
12:39 p.m.-A report of a fight in the 200 block of North Washington Street was investigated. There was no fight in the area.
2:47 p.m.-A non-injury accident involving two vehicles was investigated in the 800 block of Harding Way West. Holly A. Tesso was issued a citation for assured clear distance ahead.
4:49 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 600 block of Grand Street.
5:46 p.m.-A welfare check was attempted in the 900 block of Water Way.
5:48 p.m.-Officers met with a homeowner and had him clean up grass clippings in the roadway in the 800 block of Maple Heights.
7:07 p.m.-A report of a male riding a dirt bike with a child on the gas tank while doing wheelies was investigated in the 600 block of Grove Avenue. He advised he was not riding in the street but officers issued him a warning.
7:56 p.m.-A report of vandalism to a vehicle by juveniles in the 200 block of Clymer Avenue.
8:21 p.m.-A North Market Street resident reported a cell phone stolen by someone they know.
8:55 p.m.-A report of a dog bite was investigated in the 100 block of East Street. The person was taken to Galion Community Hospital for treatment of the dog bite. The Crawford County Dog Warden assisted at the scene and Ryan Jenkins was issued a citation for allowing a dog to run at-large.
9:42 p.m.-A report of a missing child was investigated in the 5900 block of Galion-New Winchester Road and the K-9 unit assisted at the scene. The child was later found to be at home and safe.
