GALION—A man was cited after the vehicle he was driving crashed into a pole in Galion early Wednesday morning.

Galion Police were called to the Harding Way East area near South Street at 5:44 a.m. to investigate the report of a truck hitting a pole. The truck was heavily damaged and towed from the scene by Zeger’s Towing.

Tyler Goodrich was issued a citation for failure to control. The city line department was called to the scene to replace the pole.

12:59 a.m.-A motorist was issued a citation for driving without a license in the 700 block of Harding Way West. She was also issued a verbal warning for drug possession.

3 a.m.-Lashaunda L. A. Pankey was issued a citation for driving without a license in the Harding Way West area.

4:49 a.m.-A vehicle fire was extinguished in the South Street area. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Ronk’s Towing Service.

9:43 a.m.-A Taco Bell employee reported a man unconscious in a vehicle that was parked vertically, blocking the drive-thru area. Brandon W. Webster was arrested for physical control and possession of drugs. Hensley’s Towing assisted at the scene.

12:02 p.m.-A North Market Street resident reported their vehicle broken into and their wallet and cash stolen.

12:09 p.m.-Officers mediated a dispute between neighbors in the 500 block of Second Avenue.

1:16 p.m.-A welfare check was conducted in the 300 block of Harding Way East.

3:47 p.m.-A report of a man lying on the ground in the East Church Street area was investigated. He was released to a friend.

4:09 p.m.-A report of a breaking and entering of a shed in the 100 block of South Boston Street was investigated.

5:30 p.m.-A Harding Way East resident reported cash stolen from their residence by someone they know.

5:41 p.m.-A report of sexual harassment was made in the Cedargate Apartments area.

9:08 p.m.-A person reported that three dogs attacked their dogs while at Cobey Park.

11:14 p.m.-A report of a suspicious man at Speedway was investigated.
