CRESTLINE, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—A New Washington man was arrested Wednesday afternoon on drug possession and drug paraphernalia charges after a traffic stop in Crawford County.

Kevin Manley, 39, was pulled over by Deputy Ben Petrie at approximately 3:39 p.m. on Crestline Road near Biddle Road for a speeding violation, according to authorities.

During the stop, Deputy Petrie observed indicators of drug use or presence. K-9 Nora was deployed and conducted a free-air sniff of Manley’s vehicle, alerting to the odor of narcotics.

A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded drug paraphernalia items and suspected cocaine.

Manley was taken into custody and transported to the Crawford County Justice Center. A report on the incident will be forwarded to the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office for review of all potential charges.
