Those arrested on drug-related charges in Crawford County are not receiving a “get out of jail free” card prior to any trial.

Thirty-two-year-old Kenan Neal was the latest to have a seven-figure bond set. Municipal Court Judge Sean Leuthold set Neal’s bond at $1 million.

Neal was arrested Tuesday by Crestline police following a search of a residence in Crestline. Police found and seized cocaine and a hand gun reported stolen from Bucyrus.

Police charged Neal with first-degree felony cocaine possession along with a fourth-degree felony for receiving stolen property. The possession charge was elevated to a first-degree felony because of the amount of cocaine found. The gun, which led to the receiving stolen property charge, is a Ruger 9 mm.

Neal’s case could be given to the Crawford County Grand Jury to be considered for indictment.
