GALION, OHIO (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)- At 9:58 a.m. today (June 4, 2024), the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office Detectives and METRICH concluded a significant narcotics investigation at 328 Third Ave, Galion. The Crawford County Special Response Team executed a narcotics search warrant at the address, with assistance from the Galion Police Department.

The targets of the investigation were Zachariah Xavier Zacharzuk, 29, and Michael Ray Lucas, 33. Both men were arrested on charges of trafficking in methamphetamines and possession of narcotics. Zacharzuk also had multiple arrest warrants from different jurisdictions. Both men were transported to the Crawford County Justice Center.

Over the course of the investigation, deputies seized more than half a pound of methamphetamines, Fentanyl, paraphernalia, and currency. The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office will be forwarding reports to the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office for consideration of charges.
