Each year, the staff of the Ontario Lowes location chooses a handful of nonprofit organizations or causes to which they donate time, talent, or materials. This month, one of the recipients of this business’ generosity was the Galion Community Center YMCA.
The interior of the YMCA has a new, updated look, but the exterior was in need of new landscaping. Lowes’ general manager, Ken Kiser, who is a YMCA member, thought that this may be a worthwhile project for the store employees, and the committee that makes the final determination agreed. So, Kiser and approximately ten of his staff members spent two days in June landscaping the Galion YMCA.
After over 100 hours of donated staff time and $2,500 of donated landscaping materials, the exterior of the Galion YMCA looks revitalized, just like the inside. The staff of the Galion YMCA wishes to thank the management and staff of the Ontario Lowes location for its generous donation of time, talent, and treasure to the organization!
