The Crawford Park District invites you to join members of the newly formed Lowe-Volk Astronomy Club as they share their knowledge and telescope skills with all who are interested in the celestial sights.

Beginning at 7 p.m. on Saturday, November 28 at Lowe-Volk Park program attendees will have the opportunity to observe the Reflection Nebulae, called the Pleiades. The program will show the moon rising as a Waning Gibbons 91 percent full. As the evening progresses, Orion rises and visitors will see Rigel, Betelgeuse and the Great Nebulae of Orion.

Bring your own telescope or allow the volunteers to assist you with those provided.

Lowe-Volk Park is located three miles north of US Route 30. For more information contact the Crawford Park District office at 419-683-9000.
