BUCYRUS―Bucyrus residents in different areas of the city reported hearing a loud boom or gunshot early Friday morning.
At 1:22 a.m., a resident in the 600 block of East Rensselaer Street reported hearing a loud shot in the area. Nothing was located when officers checked the area.
A resident in the 600 block of Sears Street reported hearing a loud boom outside their residence at 2:20 a.m. and at 2:43 a.m., a resident in the 1000 block of East Warren Street reported hearing a loud boom in the area of their residence.
Nothing was found when officers checked the areas and unable to determine the cause of the loud noises.

11:59 a.m.-A report of a vehicle abandoned in the area of Hopley and Woodlawn Avenues was unfounded.
4:19 p.m.-Officers responded to a commercial alarm in the 100 block of South Sandusky Avenue.
5:01 p.m.-Officers located a utility wire that was across the road in the 300 block of Sheckler Avenue.
8:06 p.m.-Jessica Robson, 30, was arrested on a warrant out of Crawford County. She was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center pending a court appearance.
8:27 p.m.-Officers investigated a domestic situation in the 700 block of Wilbur Street.
9:11 p.m.-Officers took a report of fraud from a citizen.
11:22 p.m.-A resident in the 900 block of Reid Street reported his dog stolen. It turned out to be a civil issue when it was found to be another household member who had taken the dog without the caller’s permission. The dog was returned.
