Now that the unofficial start of summer has begun, the swimming pools will be filling up with kids and families.
The Crestline swimming pool will be the first one to open for the summer today. The pool hours for the summer will be from noon until 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 1 – 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission into the pool is $3 for everyone over the age of three. Children under age three get free admission. Season passes are also available. More information can be found on the Village of Crestline’s website.
The Aumiller Park pool in Bucyrus is expected to open on June 4. Weather and repainting pushed the opening date beyond its typical Memorial Day weekend. Pool hours are 1 – 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 – 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission into the pool is $3.50 for adults ages 18-65, $3 for students, $1.50 for children ages 5 and under, and $3 for seniors ages 65 and older. Pool passes are also available. The Heise Park Swimming Pool will open on June 6. Hours of operation are 1 – 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 1 – 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Admission fees are $1 for children under age 6, $3 for children under age 18, $4 for adults ages 18-53, $3 for seniors ages 55 and older, and $1 for adults accompanying a child. Season passes are also available at the Galion Community Center YMCA. Additional details can be found on the City of Galion website.
