As the sunshine begins to steadily bring temperatures up, summer finally seems within grasp. And what would summer be without swimming pools?
The Crestline Pool will be opening for the season on May 30. Hours of operation for the season will be noon to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday. However, due to swim team home meets, normal pool hours of operation will be adjusted throughout the season. Admission into the pool is $3 daily for youth under eighteen and adults over eighteen. The Aumiller Park Pool will be opening June 3. This year they will be having two new slides as well as an exciting addition of Wi-Fi. Hours of operation for the season will be 1 to 6 p.m. for regular admission prices and 6 to 9 p.m. for reduced admission price of $1 Monday through Saturday. On Sunday the hours of operation will be 1 to 6 p.m. Regular admission prices into the pool is $1.50 for children five years and under. Admission for students and seniors 65 and older are $3. Admission for adults ages eighteen to 64 is $3.50. Season passes are also available for purchase. More information will be available soon on the City of Bucyrus website.
The New Washington Pool is set to open on June 3. Hours of operation for the season will be noon to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Daily admission prices are $3 per person ages three and up. Season passes are also available to be purchased starting May 28 from 1 to 4 p.m. or anytime beginning June 3. The Heise Park Swimming Pool will open June 5. Hours of operation will be 1 to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission prices to the pool vary based on age. For children under six years, and for adults accompanying a child, admission is $1. Those who are under the age of eighteen or above the age of 55, admission is $3. Adults between the ages of eighteen and 54, admission is $4. Season passes are also available.
