The next Crawford Conversation features a panel discussion with three accomplished local leaders—each with varied backgrounds and effective leadership styles. The panelists for “Winning Ways—Leadership Styles that Work” include Jim Kennedy, Doug Leuthold and Dawn Ratliff. The discussion will be moderated by Dr. Paul Johnson.
Kennedy, President and CEO of Ohio Mutual Insurance Group, is a graduate of BGSU and has led Ohio Mutual since joining the company in 2003. Under his leadership, the company has been named one of the top 50 insurance companies in the nation for the past five consecutive years.
Leuthold is President and owner of Advanced Fiber Technology, a small local business with 18 full-time employees that converts wastepaper into various industrial products. Leuthold earned an MBA from BGSU and was a finalist for the 2008 Ohio Chamber of Commerce “Entrepreneur of the Year.”
Ratliff is President of ADM Benefit Plans Agency, a locally-owned and operated company with more than 50 years of experience offering individual and employee benefits. With 18 years of experience in her field, Ratliff, a Crawford County native and Heidelberg University graduate, is an Advanced Chartered Benefits Consultant.
The panel discussion will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 18 in the Lobby Conference Room of the Galion Community Hospital.
The cost to attend is $20, which reserves your seat during the discussion and also includes lunch. A discount rate of $15 is available for students and seniors.
