NEWS RELEASE:

Sheds Direct, located in Bucyrus, recently donated a storage shed to the Bucyrus Athletics department. The unit was delivered and installed Sep. 19.

“The new manager for the Bucyrus location of Sheds Direct made the donation,” said Athletics Director Rick Rawson. “The first thing he does when he arrives in a new town as the manager is donate a storage shed to a local school.”

Sheds Direct offers a full line-up of storage buildings including Vinyl, Painted, and Treated Buildings. The company also offers everything from playsets and playhouses to chicken coops, rabbit pens, doghouses and dog kennels.

“The storage shed will be used to store the football field sideline markers, chains, pads, the Booster Club’s grill, tables, chairs and much more,” said Rawson. “In the winter, we will use the shed to store the athletic department’s golf cart.”

Sheds Direct began in the North Carolina Foothills and has expanded to serve markets in South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Indiana.

“This is a tremendously gracious gift from a local business,” said Superintendent Kevin Kimmel. “This is another example of the type of community support needed to help our school district grow and thrive.”
