Local author Roger Hart will be at the Bucyrus Public Library autographing copies of his newest book in the “Little House by the Edge of the Woods” series on Friday, Dec. 5, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the reading room of the library.
The Star of Bailly School is Christian Historical Fiction. The series is loosely based on Hart’s family and memories of growing up in a little house in Missouri. Hart started with his great-grandfather in the 1860s and has built fictitious stories around him and succeeding family members’ lives.
Hart began writing poems and short stories in the 1970s with a college assignment to write a poem. This led to writing Christian fiction with a goal of touching readers’ lives with God’s love, grace and salvation. He holds degrees in Christian Education, Church Bus Ministry and banking from which he is retired.
A copy of The Star of Bailly School is available to check out from the library and copies will be available for purchase.
