NORTH ROBINSON — The Fourth-Annual Little Eagles Fun Run at Hannah Crawford Elementary School is set.
The two-week program began with a pep rally Feb. 25. Families have been gathering pledges for every lap their student will run at the fun run (30-35 laps) on Friday.
The students’ big goal is to raise $10,000 for a 75-inch interactive smart board.
School staff turned to the Fun Run experts at Boosterthon to power the Fun Run and make it easier, more profitable, and more fun.
During the event, students have been experiencing a character theme, MINDSPARK MYSTERY LAB! Boosterthon’s theme combines S.T.E.A.M skills (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) with character-building.
While they’re teaming up with the MindSpark Kids to solve mysteries, the students have been learning five 21st-century character traits that will help strengthen themselves and our world.
The fun run is a glow run inside the school gym and the Jefferson Township Volunteer Fire Department will be recognized for its sponsorship of the event.
