BLOOMVILLE—The Bloomville Kids Half Way To The Block Party Chili Cook-Off Fundraiser held Saturday, February 5th, was a great success.
There were nine different chilis to sample, and once your vote was cast, you got a full serving of your favorite chili, cornbread muffins, crackers, cookies, hot dog, and drink. The lotto tree raffle was a huge hit, and the cookie bucket auction brought lots of laughs from the packed house.
The first-place winner received $100, and all the top three winners received a trophy. Joe Kelbley representing Bloomville Lions Club claimed 1st Place, Lonnie Beard representing Bloom Township Volunteer Fire Department claimed 2nd Place, and Sharon Lutz representing Bloomville UCC came in 3rd Place.
The Bloomville Kids Committee would like to thank everyone who came out to support the group by attending, donating, volunteering, or helping in any way.
