Children in the Colonel Crawford School district were treated to an annual Halloween Party hosted by the Colonel Crawford Lions and Leo Clubs. The affair happened on Oct. 30 in the high school auditorium, beginning at 6:30 pm. Approximately 90 costumed children and many parents were in attendance. The children took part in costume judging and then walked down Spook Alley where they received scares and candy.
Prizes were awarded in five categories for each age group: funniest, cutest, scariest, most original, and best costume. Each winner received a wooden plaque. The winners can be found below.
Ages 0 – 3 years: funniest, Violet Rossman; scariest, Spencer Durham; cutest, Harper Horning; most original, Alex Hartman.
Ages 4 -5 years: funniest, Cleo Thew; scariest, Trey Bruner; cutest, Louis Rietschlin; most original, Sydney Link; best costume, Layla Beers.
Kindergarten: funniest, Ace Myers; scariest, Colton Hopkins; cutest, Sydney Grace Rayborn; most original, Hayden Horning; best costume, Wyatt Spiegel.

Second grade: funniest, Aiden Shull; scariest, Rylie Dicus; cutest, Lizzie Erlsten; most original, Gracie Stirm; best costume, Kaden Bruner.
