It took firefighters from five different rural departments to battle a blaze that broke out on Lincoln Highway west of Bucyrus early Tuesday evening. The fire was on property believed to be owned by Rick Grasely.
A dispatcher from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office said a barn, shed and vehicle all caught fire. She was unaware of the extent of the damage or the cause. The fire caused authorities to temporarily close at least one of the roads near the property and there is visible damage to a home at the front of the property.
Firefighters from Wyandot East, Bucyrus Township, Holmes Township, Lykens Township and Whetstone Township were all at the scene.
