LIBERTY TOWNSHIP (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Liberty Township Fire Department gathered for its annual Christmas party Sunday night, a cherished tradition that allows firefighters to unwind and celebrate with family and friends.

During the festivities, the department took a moment to recognize the outstanding contributions of its members, presenting the prestigious Ed Foght Firefighter of the Year award to Josh Gwirtz. This award is determined by a vote from all department members during the final business meeting of the year, reflecting the collective appreciation for Gwirtz’s dedication and service.
