Crestliners have stood tall and are proud of the school facilities we have built and supported, all in a village with the lowest medium income per household in Crawford County.  To think you will be additionally taxed in the next 35 years is a safe bet.

I don’t think a sports complex will draw or keep students here.  If you survey families you will find the first response is education.  We are the bottom of proficiency testing in Crawford County and below State minimums in all areas.

Last year over 100 high schools closed in the United States and future growth is expected to decline 3-5% in the next five years.

Perhaps we should appreciate what we have and realize we already have all the amenities the Levy is asking for.  Perhaps think out of the box, sell the North School Complex, which was to be demolished and use the funds for the rest rooms or whatever, but give the taxpayers a much needed break with the rising cost of living.
