NORTH ROBINSON, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)–A new transportation service that’s “expressly” for children is making its debut in Crawford County.
Sunnyside Express, LLC, which is owned by Dan and Stacy Bute, provides transportation for children ages 3-17, whether it’s to and from school, a daycare center, extracurricular activities, or medical and dental appointments.
Their motto? “Don’t get stressed, call Sunnyside Express.”
“We are not just a taxi service for kids,” said Dan Bute, who also drives the company’s 12-passenger van. “We are committed to a caring, safe, reliable transportation method for kids to get where they need to be.”
Bute said the service is designed to ensure children get picked up and dropped off on time even if their families face work schedule conflicts and must juggle other commitments. “It can be more than just stressful – it can be overwhelming.”
The van, he said, is equipped with Dashcams, other video recorders, and strobe lights, plus booster seats and car seats can be strapped in when needed to comply with state laws. “We are committed to safety with transporting children.”
The service is enhanced, Bute said, by a dedicated parent application – downloaded after registration – which facilitates ride requests and provides real-time tracking from the pick-up spot to the destination, giving families peace of mind.
“This allows parents to monitor their child’s journey with precision,” he said. “Additionally, notifications are sent upon pick-up and drop-off, offering the assurance that your child has arrived safely at their destination.”
Bute and his wife, who babysits out of their home, said the idea for Sunnyside Express was a natural fit, evolving from the need of her clients, especially preschool parents, to arrange for ways to get their kids where they need to go.
“We just decided so let’s just start the business,” he said. “Sunnyside Express is built on the same values during the over 14 years of providing childcare to families in our community – safety, love, and dependability.”
