Tonight is the final First Friday event of the summer in Downtown Bucyrus. Designed to showcase the Sandusky Avenue business district, First Friday’s are marked by extended store hours and numerous activities.
Tonight’s theme is a thank you to area hometown heroes from EMTs to firefighters and law enforcement agencies. Those who come downtown are asked to wear blue to show their support. Firefighters will be at the Arts Park, EMT’s will be camped out in the Family Video parking lot; the Bucyrus Police Department, along with judges and city officials will be at the
mural on Washington Square; the State Highway Patrol will be at FC Bank parking lot; and the Sheriff’s Office will be at the Kennedy Layne Salon sale area on Mary Street.
Entertainment is set up at three locations in the downtown area – the mural with Greg Bell, the Tourism Bureau with Al Frazier, and Ley’s Jeweler’s with Chad and Lori Brown. There will also be more than ample opportunity to eat at the Food Court on East Rensselaer Street.
