Saturday evening’s house fire on Kiess Road drew the attention of firefighters from five departments as well as the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office received several 9-1-1 calls just after 11 o’clock Saturday night regarding the fire at the home of Charles Pratt at 3193 Kiess Road. No one was home at the time of the fire and no one was injured.
In addition to firefighters from Liberty, Whetstone, Bucyrus and Jefferson Township fire departments as well as the Bucyrus City Fire Department, deputies from the Sheriff’s Office, a trooper from the State Highway Patrol and LifeStar Ambulance were also on scene.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating that fire.
