A fire that damaged a Kaler Ave. home on Tuesday racked up $170,000 worth of damages.
The Bucyrus Police Department responded to a fire at 415 Kaler Ave. at 11:19 a.m. on Tuesday. The fire spread across the second level of the home with most of the major damage occurring on the floor and roof section of the second floor. A representative from the Fire Department said that the fire had spread through different voids, making it difficult to extinguish. Heat and smoke damage also occurred throughout the home.
No cause has been determined yet for the fire.
