Four juveniles have been charged in the Crestline Hamilton Park fire. The charges are being filed in Crawford County Juvenile Court.

Crestline Police Chief Joe Butler first announced that charges had been filed in the case during the April 28 meeting of the Crestline Village Council. No specifics surrounding the charges had been announced at that time.

The Crestline Advocate reported Wednesday that two thirteen-year-old girls and two boys, ages 11 and 9, were involved in the March 18 fire, which caused $30,000 in damages to a playscape at the park. The fire had been intentionally set after the playscape was drenched in gasoline.

Crawford County prosecutor Matt Crall will be seeking restitution in the case.
