In just a few short weeks, crowns and sashes will soon be placed upon heads and across shoulders when new royalty will reign over the Crawford County Junior Fair.
Applications have been received for the King, Queen, Prince and Princess. The Crawford County Fair Board approved to bend the age limit for the Crawford County Junior Fair King title at the June 25 meeting. Any young man that was age 14 as of Jan. 1 and applied to run for Junior Fair Prince can be upgraded to be a king contestant. Before this move, there had been no applicants to be king.
