CRAWFORD COUNTY, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—A two-day drug and criminal saturation operation in Crawford County resulted in multiple arrests and the seizure of a significant amount of drugs, according to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.
The operation, which took place on Nov. 3 and 4 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., was a joint effort between local law enforcement agencies, including the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, Bucyrus Police Department, Galion Police Department, Crestline Police Department, New Washington Police Department, Crawford County Adult Probation, Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office, and the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
During the operation, officers conducted approximately 100 traffic stops in known high-drug areas within the county. The stops resulted in the seizure of over 60 grams of methamphetamines, fentanyl, Ecstasy, marijuana, currency, and drug paraphernalia.
Two individuals were arrested on outstanding warrants, and two others were arrested for operating a vehicle while under the influence. Seven individuals were arrested on various felony drug charges. Reports will be forwarded to the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office for consideration of all charges.
Among the items seized was a significant amount of methamphetamine and counterfeit prescription medication.
