On Thursday, September 3 the Bucyrus City Council committees will meet in Council Chambers of City Hall, 500 S Sandusky Ave, Bucyrus, for a joint regular Committee meeting at 6 p.m. Topics of discussion will include the following but are not limited to:
- Platting Committee: Alley vacation at Woodlawn/McKinley, easements, and dedicating a street
- Health & Safety Committee: Liquor license transfer for Circle K and street lights in the downtown area
- Finance Committee: Create new funds for Victim Advocate grant, various appropriations, and authorization of payment to Brandstetter Carroll
Council President Love has referred the 2015 East Street and Plymouth Street Water Line Replacements Bids to the Platting and Finance Committees. The purpose of the referral is to allow for the bid process to be complete before the winter shut-down of the asphalt production. This item will be discussed at the joint regular committee meetings already scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 3.
