BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Crawford County Community Concert Association is set to bring a festive treat to Bucyrus with Helen Welch’s Jingle Bell Swing! Christmas Concert, featuring the Skatch Anderssen Orchestra. The concert will take place on Thursday, December 19, at the Bucyrus Elementary School Auditorium.
The evening promises to be a delightful mix of holiday cheer, with beautifully arranged songs designed to get everyone into the Christmas spirit. Highlights include Helen Welch’s new original song “Home for Christmas,” along with swingin’ versions of classics like “Sleigh Ride” and “Jingle Bells.” The concert will also feature a jazz waltz arrangement of “Merry Christmas Darling” and traditional carols such as “In the Bleak Mid-Winter.”
Joining Welch on stage will be her talented trio: Joe Leaman on piano, Bryan Thomas on bass, and Anthony Taddeo on drums, along with the Skatch Anderssen Orchestra.
The concert will begin at 7:00 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase Welch’s holiday album, “Home for Christmas,” and have it signed by the artist and her band.
Tickets for the Jingle Bell Swing show are still available, as are season tickets for the remaining three shows in the series, which include The Wonder Bread Years starring Pat Hazel and The Appalachian Road Show.
