BUCYRUS—A little more than a month after a jury found Jaqueline Montgomery guilty of murder, she learned her fate.
Crawford County Common Pleas Court Judge Sean Leuthold handed down the maximum sentence of 15 years to life in prison.
While Montgomery will be eligible to apply for parole after 15 years are served, there is no guarantee she will be granted parole.

Prosecutors contended that Montgomery aided and abetted in the murder of Michael “Mikey” Benedict and instigated her husband and her friend to beat Benedict to death because he (Benedict) hit her in the face at the Just Jokin’ Bar on October 10, 2021.
