The Crawford Antique Farm Machinery Association began its annual Farm Show Thursday. With a full schedule of events planned for the three-day affair, over 200 people enjoyed the pork chop dinner with live country music playing on the stage.

Earl Smith said, “Tuesday night I believe it was we had three inches of rain out here and was water and the Fairground was flooded. So, we are glad the rains were then and not now. The weather is nice and nice weather makes a nice show, makes everybody happy. People work hard on their tractors and they like people to come see them.”

Smith added that there are a lot of kid’s activities planned starting today at noon.

Tonight there will be a pick-up pull with a kiddy tractor pull, antique tractor pull, and a garden tractor pull occurring over the next few days.

“It is kind of a go, go, go for the next three days,” Smith said.

Today and Saturday there will be a flea market, crafts, garage sales, shingle mill, food, vendors, and daily entertainment for all ages and even homemade ice cream. The model train building at the fairgrounds will also be open.
