Farmers may have gotten into the fields late and some of the crops may be behind schedule, but for the tractors brought to the Crawford Farm Machinery Show, none of that matters.

The Crawford Antique Farm Machinery Association’s three-day Farm Machinery Show returns next week for its 16th edition. Between June 16 and 18, the Crawford County Fairgrounds will be filled with antique tractors, Kiddy Pedal Tractor Pulls, Cushman Scooters, crafts, flea markets, garage sales, and daily entertainment.

The Farm Machinery Show opens at noon on Thursday with a $3 entrance fee per person over the age of 10. Crawford Antique Farm Machinery Association President Mike McCracken will present the opening ceremonies. The pork chop dinner will begin at 4:30 p.m. at the Youth Building followed by an auction.

Gates open at 8 a.m. on Friday and Saturday for the same $3 fee, but those prices will increase to $10 after 4 p.m. The Antique Tractor Pull will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Friday; on Saturday, the Garden Tractor Pull is scheduled for noon and the Truck Pull for 6 p.m. Also on Saturday, a car show will take place at 9 a.m. and the tractor parade through downtown Bucyrus will pull out at 2 p.m.

The Holmes Township Volunteer Fire Department will be heading a grain bin rescue extraction demonstration on Saturday at a time to be announced.

The feature tractor for this year’s Farm Machinery Show is Ford, and Root & Vandervoort is the feature gas engine.

The 17th annual Crawford Farm Machinery Show has already been scheduled for June 15 – 17 and will feature Farmall tractors and Alamo/Rock Island Hit-N-Miss Engines.
