BUCYRUS — A one-vehicle crash resulted in one man being taken by ambulance to the hospital Monday afternoon.

According to Crawford County Sheriff’s Deputy Jeremy McCracken, the driver of a Ford flatbed truck was traveling westbound in the 4000 block of King Road, when he lost control of the vehicle near a curve. The truck came to rest in a ditch on the opposite side of road facing eastbound and had damage consistent with having rolled. Equipment from the truck was scattered throughout the scene.

The driver was taken to Bucyrus Community Hospital by Portsmouth Emergency Ambulance Service with unknown injuries.

An investigation as to what led to the crash is underway.

In addition to the Crawford County Sheriff Office and Portsmouth EAS, Liberty Township Fire Department also responded. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Oceola Garage.
