The Crawford Soil and Water Conservation District is hosting a special meeting for livestock producers interested in the current status of applying nutrients to cropland in Crawford County.
The meeting will be held from 7 to 8 Thursday night at the Bucyrus Public Library. Topics discussed will consist of the proposed nutrient spreading guidelines for the Lake Erie watershed, USDA/NRCS nutrient management standards for spreading nutrients, winter nutrient application guidelines and Ohio’s Agricultural Pollution Abatement program.
This informational meeting is intended to provide the most up to date information available on this very important topic.
