BUCYRUS—The Cleveland Division of the FBI released the identity of a Bucyrus man recently arrested on charges of engaging in child pornography crimes.
David Holdcraft, 28, of Bucyrus, was arrested by the FBI with the assistance of the Bucyrus Police Department.
Holdcraft has been charged federally with the distribution of visual depictions of real minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct and possession of child pornography.
On Feb. 25, members of the FBI’s Mansfield Resident Agency armed with federal warrants searched Holdcraft at his W. Galen St. residence in Bucyrus. They also searched a Ford F-150 truck, according to the news release. Items seized included an SD card, computers, storage devices, USB drives, external hard drives, and cellular telephones.
The FBI reports that the SD card was previewed by special agents and found to contain child sexual abuse material images and videos. The other devices have been submitted for a full forensic review.
