The Holy Redeemer Church in Crestline was on the receiving end of helping hands recently.
Father Anthony Capretta announced Monday that Holy Redeemer received a donation of $10,000 worth of merchandise from a national retailer. The church will take proceeds from the sale of the merchandise and apply it to the ongoing restoration of the church. Capretta’s current parish in Columbus holds similar yard sale fundraisers throughout the year.
Holy Redeemer will be completely renovated. Already, vintage stained glass windows have been removed from the church and are being restored and made to be more energy-efficient by a company in Columbus.
