Monday’s arraignments in Crawford County Common Pleas Court resulted in 16 not guilty pleas and two of those charged returned to the Crawford County Justice Center with bonds set at a quarter of a million dollars.
Dion McKinney is charged with felony 2 burglary and Jarrell Walker with felony 1 burglary.
Joseph Stover is charged with felony 4 improper handling of firearms, but also had a high bond set at $200,000. Jeremiah Carroll is charged with aggravated robbery and had his bond set by Judge Russell Wiseman at $100,000.
Others arraigned and pleading not guilty included: Jeffrey Alexander on felony 5 possession of drugs (personal recognizance); Randy Bowman on felony 4 failure to register ($25,000); Christopher Bryant on felony 5 possession of drugs ($50,000); Dakota Commodore on felony 4 receiving stolen property (personal recognizance); Forrest Elliot on felony 5 breaking and entering ($10,000); Brian Horning on felony 5 possession of drugs ($50,000); Lisa Jenkins on felony 5 possession of drugs ($50,000); John Kenney on felony 2 burglary ($100,000); Richard Poland Jr. on two counts of felony 4 domestic violence ($75,000); Shirley Reynolds-Kinney on felony 5 tax violations (personal recognizance); Justin Testament on felony 5 theft (personal recognizance); and Thomas Wells on felony 3 domestic violence ($25,000).
Three people were in Crawford County Common Pleas Court Monday to answer charges they violated the conditions of community control. One of them is headed to prison.
Forty-one-year-old Scott Moyers was on community control for a 2009 conviction of felony 3 robbery. Moyers was originally sentenced to four years in prison and will serve the remaining 18 months of that sentence after he admitted to several violations including theft, possession of criminal tools and receiving stolen property.
Laken Stallings tested positive for cocaine and will be held in the county jail until she is accepted at the CROSSWAEH program.
Jeffrey Zenowicz was charged with stealing a three-wheeler aTV and had Brad Starkey appointed as his counsel.
Four people asked for and were granted placement on the intervention in lieu of treatment program Monday in Common Pleas Court. All four entered guilty pleas to felony 5 drug charges and were placed on the intervention program for a period of two years.
Zachary Marshall and Jesse Melba each pleaded guilty at their arraignments and went directly to sentencing. Lisa Jenkins and Roderick Phillips were the other two individuals granted intervention on Monday.
The four can avoid a felony conviction if they successfully complete the intervention program.
