MANSFIELD, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Local law enforcement agencies across Richland County are teaming up this weekend for the annual “Cram the Cruiser” food drive, aiming to stock the shelves of area charities just ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.

The event, which has successfully collected tons of food in previous years, showcases the community’s generosity by filling police cruisers with non-perishable food items.

Officers and deputies will be set up at three major grocery store locations in Mansfield on Saturday, November 22, and Sunday, November 23, 2025, to accept donations. All collected items will be distributed to local food pantries in need.

Residents are invited to come out, meet their local law enforcement officers, and contribute to the effort.
