Ohio Heartland Community Action Commission is announcing the 2015-2016 Winter Crisis Program known as HEAP. It began began in November and runs through March 31.
Those wanting to take part may schedule an appointment to verify eligibility by calling 1-866-861-6421.
The policy is as follows: (1) electric or gas customers must be in a shut off situation (2) bulk fuel, wood, coal or heating oil customers must have less than 25 percent of the fuel source on hand.
Walk-In customers will be served daily on a limited first come first serve basis at the Community Action Commission office at 372 E. Center St. in Marion.
